How do I connect QuickBooks Online to Claude?
We deploy a dedicated connector for your company at its own web address. In Claude you add it as a custom connector (Settings → Connectors) and sign in with your Microsoft work account. It works in Claude Desktop, on the web and on mobile.
Can Claude connect to QuickBooks Online in Canada?
Yes. The connector works with QuickBooks Online companies in Canada and the US, including Canadian GST/HST sales-tax codes on invoices, credit memos and receipts. Claude can also look up the GST/HST rates your company has set up.

You choose. Of the 143 actions, 72 only look things up and 71 create, change or remove records — and Claude shows you exactly what it intends to change and waits for your yes. For a hard guarantee, we can deploy it read-only, or connect it through a QuickBooks user that can only read.
Do I need to run a server or be technical?
No. It's a hosted AI integration, maintained for you as a dedicated deployment for your company, so there's no server to run. Once it's added to Claude or a Microsoft Copilot Studio agent, you ask questions in plain English.
Does the connector copy or store my QuickBooks data?
No. The connector keeps no copy of your books: every question is a fresh look at QuickBooks at that moment, over an encrypted connection, with no separate database or cache. Answers appear in your Claude or Copilot Studio conversation, like any other chat.
