Read-only by default
The connection can look, not touch. Anything that would change or delete data is rejected before it reaches your database. Writes are only ever possible if you deliberately turn them on for a specific job.

The honest test is simple: if a developer could integrate with it, an AI can be given the same access — with tighter limits, because we decide exactly which actions are exposed and whether any of them can write. What we build is an MCP server — a connector built on the Model Context Protocol, the open standard for letting an AI assistant work with a real business system. Because it's a standard rather than a private integration, the same connector answers to any AI that speaks it:
It's hosted and maintained for you — a dedicated deployment for your company, signed in through your own Microsoft account, reaching your database over an encrypted connection. You don't run a server, and switching AI tools later doesn't mean rebuilding the integration. If you already have an MCP setup and just want the connector, that works too.
